Ithink it was a great idea but it doesn't seem like anyone cares to use em? Although we get a ton of hits..............so folks is reading em................. :? I need some information first.......... just the basic facts......... what does this mean :?: .... WMI encountered a problem and needs to close..... :( :x that is what my new laptop continues to say... the screen will go black, and it shuts down.. ..just my luck...

I found this. Try it. If yo can't do it, bring the laptop to the show, Ray or I can take a look at it. Since WMI does a lot of good stuff (like running most Windows-based apps), be careful, but this may help: Go to the Control Panel, and then Admin Tools. Go to Services, then scroll down until you see Windows Management Instrumentation. Right click, hit properties, and turn it to Manual (DO NOT TURN IT OFF!! AGAIN-- DO NOT DISABLE IT!).
